RESEARCH WITH PERSPECTIVE

Keep the limits in the picture.

A visible movement can be interesting without supporting an identity, a profit calculation, or an investment decision.

Observation is not recommendation

WhaleWallets.com is an educational research website. It does not execute trades, hold assets, connect wallets, or recommend an address to copy. The sample tracker contains invented cases for practicing a method, not signals extracted from actual portfolios.

Keep the original research question narrow. A movement may be visible while acquisition cost, beneficial ownership, and economic purpose remain unresolved. Our transfer interpretation guide explains how to test alternatives without presenting them as established facts.

Scope and timing matter

A partial address history is not a complete portfolio. A snapshot is not a performance record. An estimated value depends on its inputs and valuation time. When those inputs are missing, reduce the scope of the claim rather than inventing a number.

The copying-whale-trades guide discusses information delay, execution assumptions, selection bias, and missing cost basis. Those issues should be considered before treating an observed event as a reproducible strategy.

Keep secrets out of research

This website does not ask for seed phrases, private keys, wallet approvals, or signatures. Do not send those details through email or include them in a research note. Inspect public records through the intended explorer and check the destination before following external links.

A recognizable asset symbol or address nickname is not sufficient verification. Preserve exact identifiers and the origin of a label. Do not deanonymize private individuals or publish unsupported attributions.

Understand the implementation

Filters operate on six fixed fictional cases. Saved lists stay in local browser storage when it is available. There are no live alerts or model-generated predictions. Exporting a watchlist writes a file to your device; it does not upload your records.
